I am delighted to share with you my new EP 'Whisper', which will be released world-wide on the 26 November 2021.
‘Whisper’ was inspired by my summer travels in the south of France. Surrounded by breath-taking beauty, ranging from sunrise to sunset, sea views, gorgeous skies, colourful plants and flowers, I aimed to represent in this composition my inner state in this beautiful environment.
On this EP I also have a vocal version of this track: ‘Whisper for Piano and Voice’, where I recite softly in Russian, my native language, a poem, written by Olga D, which speaks of wonders of being awoken by sunlight, surrounded by the beauty of nature. The mixture of voice and piano, where the voice comes across more as a whisper, adds an additional, intimate effect to this version of the composition.
These compositions will appear on my upcoming album ‘Voyages Français’ which was inspired by my frequent journeys to my beloved France. France was the country where I first started to compose, influenced by the nature, art, local food and, of course, wonderful people who I met on my journeys. 'Whisper' EP is dedicated to 5 different experiences which appear in addition to the above mentioned tracks: 'St Paul', 'St Michelle' and 'Jean' (these compositions were released earlier this year as singles).
