GéNIA is delighted to announce her new show, 'Beauty and the Beast: Between Shadow & Light', which will take place at Toulouse Lautrec on the 13h March 2025 at 8pm (Doors open at 7pm).
Through solo piano music, we trace this journey—from serenity to turmoil, from echoes of history to lessons we must never forget.Beauty and the Beast is not a fairy tale—it is a reflection of our world. Beauty embodies harmony, culture, and the richness of human expression, while the Beast represents destruction, chaos, and war, threatening to consume it all.
This recital serves as a reminder that beauty is fragile yet enduring. Even as the Beast of war and devastation rises, music—like memory—preserves the past, urging us to reflect, remember, and rebuild. Our lives, like this programme, move through darkness and light, ultimately showing us that the journey itself is what defines us.
The programme will feature works by Liszt, Schubert, Chopin, and Satie, interwoven with GéNIA’s own compositions.
